I don’t know about you, but I love saving money. Love, love, love it!
My First Experience with Serious Couponing
I had never really used coupons until I married Sam. He was coupon crazy! We would spend time cutting coupons from the Sunday paper (back when we got the paper!) and then organize them in a series of envelopes.
Oh boy! Doesn’t that sound like fun? I was less than excited about the whole process.
At that time, Sam would go to the Commissary (grocery store on Air Force bases) coupon envelopes in hand and spend, I kid you not, four hours doing our grocery shopping.
He could rival any coupon extremist that you might know.
He brought home a lot of items that we NEVER would have bought without a coupon. I did not like this way of shopping and pretty much gave him a hard time when unpacking the groceries.
What good is saving money on products you would never buy anyway?
I don’t like to use coupons just for the sake of using coupons.
But I LOVE using them on products that I would buy and pay full price for.
Your New (or not) Budget
I know many of you follow a budget and know just exactly how much disposable income you can spend pursing your hobbies.
If you haven’t created a budget yet, go to this article to help you get set up.
Now that you know how much you can spend, it goes without saying (but I’m going to say it anyway!) that your budget will go further if you use coupons to save a little here and there. The “here and there” can total to significant savings and stretch that dollar further.
Using Coupons for Arts & Crafts
I hope I was able to convince you to try a hobby in the category of Arts & Crafts (see the 5 Reasons You Should Get Into Arts & Crafts).
So, if you are going to try something new, there are a ton of great coupons to use, in store and online.
Very Important Note:
Just like all coupons, they do come with an expiration date. If you are reading this article and a coupon has expired, please send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will gladly email coupons right to you. Now it may not be the exact same deal since I try to find the best coupons available at the time, but I will work my best for you.

Brag About Saving Money!
If anyone (like your friends, family, spouse, significant other – I mean ANYONE!) gives you a hard time about spending money on your Arts & Crafts hobby, just let them know how much you saved!
We both know we will spend that savings on more crafty stuff but saving money is always popular when sharing a budget with someone.
Let me know in the comments how much you saved by using these coupons. Happy shopping!
