Recently, Sam and I went to the Wildflower Festival in Kemp, TX. I love small towns and the sense of community that comes with it.
As we wandered around, a booth filled with exquisite quilts caught my eye. I searched for the maker and saw an elderly woman that I assumed had made these treasures.
She turned out to be a customer and the artist was actually young, beautiful and incredibly talented.
I’d like to introduce you to Michelle Lambert, quilting expert.
We visited for awhile about how I thought of quilting as an older women’s hobby and a lost art.
I am so glad I was wrong.
